What's up everyone?! First of all, thanks so much for stopping by my site and for taking your time to look around. My name is Richard and I'm from Hobbs, New Mexico. I was born in Denver, Colorado and I am a huge Denver Broncos fan! I’ve spent majority of my life here in Hobbs. I have a beautiful 20 year old daughter, Anastasia. Aside from photography I am heavily involved in music (drumming), I enjoy the gym and I enjoy collecting fragrances (don't ask me how many I own haha). My photography story started in 2011. The bug for photography bit me. I remember being in an academy training class for a security job and during the entire training academy, one of the guys in the class had a DSLR and was capturing everything we did. I was curious as to how the shots were coming out one day and asked him if he would show me a few of them. I remember being blown away at how clear and professional the pictures looked and asked him what camera setup he had. Immediately, I knew I had to have the same camera as that to be able to take pictures like he did. I saved up a couple of months and was able to purchase it. Once I received the camera and started taking pictures of my daughter and family, it was clear that there was much more to taking a professional picture with a DSLR than just pointing and shooting. I ran into many times where frustration and lack of knowing how to operate my camera properly almost led me to giving it up. I studied and studied and studied as much as I could and I feel I have found a new love for photography now that I understand the ergonomics of it. Photography is now a passion for me unlike ever before and I strive to put my absolute best effort into every picture I take. I love for nothing more than the happiness that someone shows when they see their memories beautifully captured. That to me, is what photography is all about.
